The 2013 Bloom Festival celebrates the arrival of spring with a carnival of inner-city arts activity. Explore Gorman House and the Ainslie Arts Centres to discover a program of events showcasing resident music, visual arts, dance, theatre and literary organisations and some of Canberra’s finest practitioners. Meet studio artists and craftspeople and witness their works-in-progress. Enjoy music, performances and art installations throughout unique spaces.

Patricia Piccinini’s hot-air balloon sculpture The Skywhale will be tethered near the Arts Centre on Saturday, providing a wonderful opportunity to see the Centenary of Canberra commissioned artwork up close.
