Selalu plus Geoffrey Graham at the Merry Muse, Polish White Eagle Club
Friday 9 May from 7.30pm. $15/$12.
38 David Street, Turner.

Selalu is a Sydney-based trio of Trevor, Kathleen and Tully, in an acoustic line up of guitars, mandolin, banjo, bass and three-part harmonies, taking their audiences on a journey with a diversity of original songs that are strong and thoughtful. They draw upon contemporary, folk and country styles and their songs contain stories about life, social issues, and moving love ballads.

Trevor Swadling has been writing songs, singing and playing guitar for many years and all of Selalu’s songs are his compositions. Trevor’s wife Kathleen was a folk singer and guitarist in her youth and now provides strong backing vocals, guitar, mandolin and banjo. Tully Dingle is a talented young musician and a singer/songwriter in his own right. Since joining up with Trevor and Kathleen in Selalu he has brought a unique dynamic to the group that has helped to give it its current sound and feel. His strength lies not only in his clever guitar and bass work but he also contributes to the musical arrangements and provides strong backing vocals.

Supported by vibrant, dynamic poet and performer Geoffrey Graham.
