I have often heard people judge and criticise teenage parents, throught their own narrow minded beliefs and prejudices. We need to support young parents, help them to learn and grow and develop, so they in tern can help their children to become happy and productive members of our society. Those teenage parents and their offspring, have as much potential to be our future leaders and thinkers as anyone else. This program and this award are to be commended by all of us who care about people, and whose emotional intelligence sees the value of human life. I am familiar with this program because I Freecycled quite a few baby/toddler items that were collected by staff to set up the facilities at the college and/or make available for the students at home.
