It’s unavoidably Christmas now. But one of Canberra’s nicer seasonal elements are the Carols at Lanyon.
I reviewed it back in 2008 and the Lanyon website has this to say:

Canberra is hosting the 2012 Australian Fencing Circuit Open Championships and the 2012 Oceania & Australian Veteran Fencing Championship.
