[ 9 December, 2012; 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. ] After a break for a few years, the Canberra Custom Knife Show is back on December 9th from 10am – 3pm. It will be held at the Tharwa Village Hall and focus on the work of local makers. Canberra has a small but growing knife making community.

It’s unavoidably Christmas now. But one of Canberra’s nicer seasonal elements are the Carols at Lanyon.

I reviewed it back in 2008 and the Lanyon website has this to say:

Canberra is hosting the 2012 Australian Fencing Circuit Open Championships and the 2012 Oceania & Australian Veteran Fencing Championship.

The event will be held at the Australian Institute of Sport (Main Arena) from Friday December 7 2012 to Tuesday December 11 2012.
