The first Pecha Kucha night in 2009 will take place on February 25 in the NewActon courtyard, kicking off at 7pm. As always, entry to the event is free.
For those new to the idea, Pecha Kucha is a global affair featuring creative folk discussing their ideas. Kicking off in Tokyo in 2002, the event has spread to 170 cities around the world. Wednesday night’s event is the 5th volume here in the capital. It aims to gather a cross section of the Canberra community and get them talking.
The shindig goes down at the Courtyard Cinema at NewActon (15 Edinburgh Ave) from 7pm- in case of wet weather, we’ll move inside to the Parlour Wine Room.
