Your chance to show off your pet

The RSPCA is announcing that they’re now taking bookings for places in their very popular calendar.

So if you want to support the organisation and also get your furry/feathery/scaly friend a degree of vicarious fame this is your big chance.

Apparently the dates are handed out on a first come, first served basis so you need to get in quick.

I appreciate that a great cause like the RSPCA makes much-needed money out of the daily photo thing, but even that “improved” amount of white space makes for a totally useless calendar :(

I’m guessing you’re not looking at the actual size on that flyer there.

Most people only look at a wall calendar (as opposed to writing appointments etc on it) anyway don’t they?

    I think it’s cute.

I like this idea – great for presents for people with everything. Hopefully RSPCA will be having Santa Paws pet pix again this year – last year they had Petroglyph take the photos and they were gorgeous.

I’m a scrawler. If I can’t illegibly scribble an appointment in at a 45 degree angle with room for a few underlines, it doesn’t work for me…

Ah well, they get my money any way. I’ll just save them the cost of a calendar!

Point taken Primal, if that’s how you like your calendars then fair enough.

Don’t feel bad though, there’ll be no shortage of takers. I tried to get a photo on last year’s calendar about a month after it came out – no luck – they had all sold.

Rspca do an awesome job, well done.

So how much does it cost per photo?

Do they just use existing pix or take new ones for this?

Have a look at the order form for the pricing. You send in your own pic
