Hello all,

it is that time of the year again……. just thought I would let you all know that Handmade is on again!

Next saturday May 23rd at Albert Hall. 10am – 4pm.
Free parking, Free Entry (still no ATM at the hall)

We still support the Motor Neuron Disease assocciation. This time we have a large basket of Donna Hay Homewares donated by Donna Hay to raffle for MND.

There will be 85 designers this Winter Warmer market, Some only show at Handmade. Most of the designers are on the website so you can plan your trip.

The competition page is full of wonderful things to win.

There are specials for the day offered by the stallholders. You just have to print them off and bring them along to save.

There will be live music from 12 noon until close. We have the Pink haired Girls and then Sarah Daphne Foo playing.

(I have ordered a 19 deg day, sunny no rain or heatwave this time) Fingers crossed.

Mmmm so much to tell you, we are taking registrations for the Walk D feet day that is happening on June 21st. This event is raising money for MND. You can join our Handmade team or register your own. To join us or for more info check out the link.

Hey there,

We have an overflow of 36 stalls outside already and we will open up the other side of the hall for the Sep market. I think moving it to the CIT or a school would loose some of the feel of the market. We have great things planned for Friday the 11th and Sat the 12th of September. Having the Friday Twilight market should help alleviate the congestion also.

Thanks for the thoughts though and keep them coming, we want to make this an event you really want to come to!
Cheers

How about forging a partnership with a school or other educational institution and getting it to open up? Dickson? Or CIT Reid?

If it’s free entry, then you could use the space around the Albert Hall for stalls too? Overflow.

Hey Ladies,

Mmmm a bigger venue, lots of parking, inner city and atmospheric…….. That should be easy to find. NOT!
If you find it I will follow!

I am so glad you all had a good time, we sure did. September 11th & 12th is going to be amazing and we have started planning already. The Friday evening opening will help with the congestion (I hope) the sat is the first day of Floriade so you can wander from us to the flowers.
make sure you join newsletter and blog to keep up to date.

It was awesome, the stalls were wonderful and my little sister and I left feeling really inspired. I can’t wait for the next one!

Keep it free entry! That aspect was wonderful along with the amazing stalls (and food). Might have outgrown the venue though … but please, keep it inner-city and atmospheric! 🙂

Oh My Gosh,

How good was Handmade yesterday?
It was my pleasure to put this on for everyone, including myself. I had so much fun at Handmade.
Thank you everyone who came and yes there were a few! We were a tad caught off guard by how many wonderful shoppers came along. It seems our “little” market was quiet a hit!

I have not had the energy to see just how generous you all were but it seems we will hit some where around $1500 mark for Motor Neuron Disease NSW. So thanks to everyone.

When we get our energy and sanity back we will post the winners of the competition, all the goss and the full amount of money raised.

Cheers
