civic; how more central is there (apart from fyshwick, which advertises itself thus, too often) – simply close off garema place for a better species than currently possesses it… will go nicely with the new cycling revamp of the village square. ; )
Brilliant! My vote is for Weston Park. Beautiful & safe location, and quite convenient from the City or Woden.
I recently attended a Christmas BBQ at Weston Park and enquired whether dogs were allowed beforehand and was quite surprised the answer was a no. Hopefully in the not too distant future this might become a yes.
I would have thought there was enough dogging activity already in Weston park and BMP
I would be quite happy for Weston Park to stay dog free…
They mean a fenced dog park so that it won’t impact on people using the remaining areas Weston park and BMP. I think the one at Belconnen is quite good.
I vote Weston Park. The Weston Park miniature railway needs more local support to keep it running.
There are already leash-free areas near Weston Park … why add another (even if it is enclosed)?
#4 +1 – NOT Weston Park! Love it as is.
