The ABC is reporting on a street fight in goulburn last night where police were attacked.

More remarkably, it seems the ACT has expanded its borders while we weren’t looking.

A large birthday party at a home in Goulburn in the ACT last night turned violent, with party goers ending up in a brawl with police.

UPDATED: As you were, the ABC has made a correction.

I’ll support you too JB, although I’ve noticed that the lines have been a little less defined recently, a check of post in the office found that a number of Queanbeyan and Jerra locations used Canberra, ACT in their mailing address.

Perhaps they just think the white powder sniffing machine is more reliable in Canberra, since it has to provide service to so many embassies…

Oh, I saw it, don’t worry – I’ll bear witness to anyone who claims you made it up 🙂

Looks like someone’s pointed it out to them – it’s now been corrected.

The ABC must have been having a slow news day to come up with that one. They don’t usually mention Goulburn unless they’re desperate for some copy.

As for the bit about them saying Goulburn is in the ACT, well, it’s all part of the grand push for accuracy and detail that’s rampant through the radio news “industry” at the moment.

Canberra’s newest “Inner North” suburb: Goulburn! Just a short drive to the restaurants of Canberra’s Chinatown, Dickson.
