A Swedish Affair – featuring The Song Company and the ANU School of Music Chamber Choir.

Music by Grieg, Grainger, Nysted, Rautavaara, Jennefelt, Wikander and others.

As part of the 2012 HC Coombs Fellowship, The Song Company joins forces with the ANU School of Music Chamber Choir in presenting an exquisite selection of music from a continent where singing is an essential part of life. The Song Company is Australia’s leading vocal ensemble. It embraces music from around the world and across the ages. The group consists of six full-time professional singers led by internationally acclaimed Artistic Director, Roland Peelman.

The School of Music Chamber Choir is the brain-child of much-loved Associate Professor, Head of Aural Studies and native Swede, Olle Palqvist and features students from the ANU School of Music.
