Tomorrow at 12.30 will see the brave, nay courageous, experiment in tweet based democracy when the ACT Virtual Community Cabinet takes off on the #actvcc hashtag.
Will there be tumbleweeds rolling through? Will it be deluged by griefers, wasters, spammers, and angry old men?
Or will it be a great form of discourse?

Oh and trolls, let us not forget the trolls….
Sounds like the most fun since the Canberra goss site. Can we vote on stuff?
It looks a bit party political having the ACT Labor logo next to the cabinet ministers’ names. Maybe they should replace it with the ACT Government logo to make it look more official and less partisan.
I don’t recall this childish nonsense being put forward at the last election. Is it possible to return to a Twitterless world?

Ah, the power of RiotACT. The ACT Labor logos have now been replaced by thumbnail pics of the ministers.
How exactly is 140 characters of any use beyond ‘soundbite politics”?
This is one of those things politicians and 40-something public servants use as evidence of ‘engaging’, while the rest of us see it as a sign they’re out of touch.
