Aggravated burglary in Kambah

ACT Policing is investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred at a home in Ashby Circuit, Kambah, early yesterday morning (Sunday, 17 May).

Around 12:05am, the victim was home alone, when two men, armed with wooden poles, forced entry into his home and made demands for cash and property.

After the victim refused the demands, the two men assaulted the victim and took a wallet and money before fleeing the premises.

The first man is described as around 6’1” in height (185cm), slim build, shaved black hair, tanned skin and spoke with an Australian accent. At the time he was wearing a light blue jumper, light blue jeans and had his face covered with a royal blue handkerchief.

The second man is described as Caucasian, around 6’1” in height (185cm) with a solid build. At the time he was wearing a black ski mask, black t-shirt and a red jacket.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who can identify the offender to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via https://act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
