Simon Corbell has announced an extension of acting Justice Margaret Sidis time in the ACT Supreme Court:
“With the upcoming retirement of Master David Harper, I have decided to reappoint Ms Sidis in order to ensure the successful results of the blitz are not lost and cases continue to proceed in an efficient manner.
“I understand that the Supreme Court will shortly announce arrangements for Acting Justice Sidis to hear matters during early 2013 for part of the period that the Master will be out of court to write judgements.”
Almost sounds as if we need an extra permanent judge on the bench doesn’t it?
