The Capital Arts Patrons’ Organisation is letting everyone know tickets are now on sale for their fundraiser dinner:
CAPO has begun selling tickets to its annual arts auction party and fundraising event on Saturday 8 September at M16 Artspace in Griffith. M16 is an artist-run organisation that provides valuable visual arts infrastructure and development to artists, arts organisations and the ACT community.
Early bird prices are available until mid-August. Ticket holders also receive the exclusive 2012 edition of CAPO’s auction catalogue.
The CAPO gala fundraiser features a cocktail-style event for guests surrounded by the diverse works donated by artists from Canberra and the region, with an awards ceremony, and live and silent auctions.
“The CAPO 29 auction party will include live performances and special acts to accompany the auctions and presentation of 11 artists’ awards this year,” said CAPO President Neil Doody. “We look forward to working with M16 Artspace.”
