Vicki Dunne is having a poke at the Government’s new ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal which is due to kick off on Monday.
Vicky reckons that aside from failing to sort out the offices for the new court these other issues have not yet been dealt with:
- — The regulations that underpin the legislation;
— The operational procedures, including matters such as forms;
— The arrangements for bringing existing staff together from the various Tribunals, Boards, etc, including training of existing staff; and
— Promotion of the new arrangements to all relevant internal and external stakeholders, and the public generally, particularly those relating to procedural operations.
Another day in Stantopia.
