Rioters.

Looking for help and recommendations for window replacements!

The Gone Family mansion is in serious need of new windows as the existing aluminium ones are 30+ years old and sick.

We are happy to consider double/triple glazed options as well as single glazed replacements.

Appreciate any advice from Rioters!

When you want to get windows / doors, ensure that they are made out of materials that can be sealed tightly shut. Because usually you lose a lot of heat despite having a heater because of improper doors. UPVC doors are great because they are natural insulators, so your home will be warm without losing any heat. I know Malplas do them. http://malplas.com.au/
Try them

We had the same problem – cr#ppy, rattly, draughty 40-year-old aluminium windows. We got Solace Creations in Fyshwick (www.solacecreations.com.au) to replace about half our windows with proper uPVC-framed argon-filled tilt&turn double-glazed windows a couple of years ago.
We’ve been so happy with the results that we’re currently in process of having them do the other half.
Not cheap – can end up approaching a couple of grand per window supplied, delivered & fitted, plus painting and blinds/curtains – but was painless, and is a *vast* improvement.

Did you get insect screens as well?

Yes, screens were included standard with our windows.

I just had my 3 bedroom house (8 windows, two sliding doors, front door and a glass laundry door) fitted with double glazed Quantum windows via Trend . We put them in ourselves… all the windows turned up at the correct size. We would use them again, their showroom is in Hume.
