ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an indecent assault which occurred last night (Thursday, November 22) in Acton.
At about 9.40pm, a 20-year-old woman was walking along Daley Road when a man approached her from behind, restraining her with both arms and pinned her against a wall. The man attempted to indecently assault the woman.
The woman managed to break free from the man’s grip and ran away.
The offender is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late teens to early 20s, about 173cm (5’ 8”) tall, with an average build. He was wearing a striped rugby jersey, grey-coloured tracksuit pants and a khaki, army-style flat hat.

I think saw this guy last night when I was driving through the ANU at about 8:15pm past the Curtin Medical School. (calling Crimestoppers) I actually thought he looked mentally ill and locked my car doors as I slowed to go over the speed bump/pedestrian crossing.
Good on you for reporting the suspicious person Katietonia. Hopefully they’ll catch this person.
Filthy scumbag. Hopefully he is either caught or dealt with by the public.

ANU, ANUSA, Woroni – all silent. Haven’t put out the word about this.
Only way to get these creeps is to make sure there are eyes everywhere, with his description in mind.
