Does anyone know who is responsible for the guys with the “stop/slow” signs who are discouraging pedestrians from using the pedestrian crossings in Petrie and Scotts Streets – the ones that connect the separate parts of the Canberra Centre.

ABC Online has just run an item saying Canberra is too expensive for nurses etc. to buy a home.
After a small rant against Canberra the article ends with the footnote “Similar results were found in all other cities except Darwin.” Have we upset someone in the ABC?

DJ’s in Civic has had extensive water damage from its sprinkler system and may be closed for weeks.
