I've been based here in Canberra for about 20 years so I guess that I'm starting to feel like this place is home - that and they changed the streets in Melbourne so I always get lost when I go back there!

Data Centre Developers Getting Ready for Green Light to Go

ACT National Trust Issues List of Most at Risk Heritage Places

The ACT National Trust has nominated 18 places they believe possess heritage values and that are at risk from a range of potential impacts incliuding neglect, demolition, drougy, vandalism and poor planning decisions.
The Trusts top three places include:

The Dickson-Lyneham Flats on Northbourne Avenue;
Redwood Forest, Pialligo; and
The Yarralumla Brickworks

ACCC Spoils Woolworth’s Plans for Karabar

Holy Grail Fined for Underpaying Staff

Local ABC radio (666) is reporting that The Holy Grail bars in Kingston and Civic have been fined $30,000 by the Office of the Workplace Ombudsman for underpaying their junior staff. There’s nothing on the WPO website in terms of a press release as yet.
