Just upstream of the bridge over the Murrumbidgee near the pumping station, there is occassionally a huge powerful blast of water spraying into the Murrumbidgee.
It is on the wrong side of the river to be coming directly from the new dam site.

Does anyone know the story behind what the Chinese Embassy has built on the land between their embassy and the Canberra Yacht Club?
There is a high colourbond fence surrounding what is quite a large block of land.
There are a couple of 2 story barrack type buildings that are especially ugly. [...]
