Quite a vision driving down the parkway this evening – 6000 Pink Lady silhouettes have been planted at the National Arboretum for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Was a little quieter than I expected (lunchtime), new arrivals every few minutes, no que – Weekend is going to be crazy busy.
They are only taking TV’s and Computer/Monitors – all the rest (microwave, casette players, cd player etc) are going over to Tiny’s
So don’t think you can dump every electronic thing you have
What looked like 100m dash turned out to be a solid hike in muddy water.
Arrived at the edge of the lake at 6:20am – just in time for me to find a gigantic birds nest (not sure what type) and a spectacular sunrise with very fast moving clouds and light

Canberra turn-out was great – 30 people in total. Lot’s of pic appearing online now
The two top photographers (Trey Ratcliff and Thomas Hawk, 3 Million follower between them) on G+ both commented on my post just after 7am – the exposure was huge!

They have been busy installing this new sculpture over the weekend, in front of DOHA in Woden
All the perforations (b&w shot) will make this look amazing once lights are on … can’t wait to shoot it at night
