About Michele the Celebrant

I've been celebrant at well over one thousand wonderful weddings, mostly in the ACT and nearby NSW. Six civil celebrants have chosen me as their celebrant at their own weddings.

These days I specialise in simple weddings. They can be any size, held on any day or night, at any time, at any location. I describe them as 'simply beautiful and beautifully simple'. I always invite the couple to add personal vows to their simple ceremony if they wish. (About 50% choose to.)

Within a simple service there are still several options, which have all been provided by the Attorney-General. For example, the simple 'ask everyone here' can replace the traditional 'call upon the persons here present'.

My peaceful romantic Heart Garden often hosts small weddings, with up to 10 adult guests. Children are always welcome. Couples often bring a special music track and drink. I provide the player and crystal champagne flutes.

I print the ceremony on parchment in the font of the couple's choice. I also use this font on their personal marriage certificate. I put the certificate and wording into a clear plastic wallet for the newlyweds to take with them.

I have the happiest job in the world. It's all about love. Sharing love, expressing love, and making a loving and lifelong commitment to each other in the presence of family and friends.
