Backbeat Drivers is one of Australia’s most original blues/R&B acts, with Steve Hartnett on Vocals Harmonica and Guitar, Mike Hardy on Guitar and backing vocals, Ben Connelly on Bass and backing vocals and David “Doc” Rennie on drums.
The band is a local legend in Canberra and our longest continually gigging blues band, playing originals, as recorded on “The Emperor’s New Blues” and “True Blues Confession” cds, as well as covering the great blues’ songs and artists.
