I’m in a three-piece (guitar+vox/keys+guitar/drums) rock band. We’re public servants/professionals slumming it and need someone to come drink beers with us who likes playing bass (well). We’d like to start gigging to small numbers of disinterested hipsters within a few months.
We have a bunch of tunes already, if you’re curious, have a listen at http://Parsecs.net.
You can click on the “for more information” link at the site to get in touch.
All the usual requirements apply: must have transport, gear, several fingers (or equivalent).
You may have already had a bass player for years and simply never noticed before, it happens to thousands of bands worldwide every year. Check that dark corner in your rehearsal space to see if you can see a bored looking chap holding a bass, wondering where everyone went.

Nah they all moved to London, Melbourne or Perth. 2 out of three are admittedly dark, dank places.
Bass players are so last century, get a decent sequencer and progam it.
Surely the drummer can lug his own gear.
Can’t play any of the demos – says I need Flash Player, but I have it and I’ve enabled scripting from all the sites except Google Analytics. If I need that, forget it.

Sorry, I’m not sure how to help you there!

Must.. not… feed the trolls!
Nice production on the tune Cactus. I’m a bass player but probably a bit old for originals.
And those with the inane comments about bass players, I guess they’ve not seen live music for some time.

Thanks very much. I should probably clarify; we’re advanced in years; mid/late 30s guys. Set thy expectations and judgement appropriately!
