Belconnen fire on Totterdell Street

ACT Fire & Rescue have quickly extinguished a fire at a medical centre in Belconnen this morning.

The crews were called to the Totterdell Street address at 8.20am.

Three fire pumpers, the Breathing Apparatus Support Crew, the Hazardous Materials Unit and two commanders responded to the scene.

The fire in the roof of the building was quickly put out.

There was smoke and water damage to the building.

The fire was caused by a heating unit in the roof space of the building.
