ACT Policing has arrested a 19-year-old woman from Belconnen who will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning following four incidents of theft.

It is alleged the woman conducted a petrol drive off at the Coles Express Service Station in Hawker on Sunday 8 May 2016 with a Silver Holden Commodore that was reported stolen on Friday 6 May.

On 13 May 2016, police attended an address in Belconnen where the woman was in possession of a white Toyota Celica that had performed a petrol drive off on 11 May at the 7 Eleven service station in Holt. The vehicle was reported stolen from Macgregor. She was arrested and summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

On Tuesday 17 May 2016, the woman was at the 7 Eleven service station in Holt, and was seen exiting a Mercedes that was reported stolen on 16 May. The vehicle returned to the same 7 Eleven that afternoon where the woman filled the car with fuel and left without paying.

On Tuesday 31 May, a White Nissan Pulsar was stolen from Belconnen. The owner of the vehicle called police to report the stolen vehicle and fraudulent transactions that were made on a bank card that was taken from inside the vehicle.

Police attended the IGA where the transactions occurred and viewed CCTV footage which identified the woman. She was arrested later that evening in Belconnen, after being in possession of the stolen debit card.

The woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning on multiple charges of drive motor vehicle without consent, theft, unlawful possession of stolen property, and obtain property by deception.

Police remind readers they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter.

Well, she’s a one-woman crime wave, that’s for sure.

I assume somebody sensible will be in charge of saying “no” to her next request for bail?
