As foreshadowed this lunchtime saw Blackhawk assault helicopters playing around over Parliament House for an exercise.

It seems that as usual, aircraft with gigs in Canberra awaited their performance time doing warmup laps of Weston Creek. Apparently kids at the local school, supposed to be doing fitness, were running around like mad things calling out “aaaaahhh there’s helicopters!!”…
So much for “be alert but not alarmed”.
