Five dollars isn’t a bad price to pay for some cheesy 80’s memories, but ten dollars is too much to charge for entry in to what is a mediocre place.

For those of us who grew up in the 80’s and haven’t stopped partying, it’s one of the few places which isn’t full of people young enough to be our children.

Is Galaxy what used to be Deja Vu at the Casino? Does it still have the wonderful carpet and questionable art work?

Hahaha lol YES ! The lame carpet still exists.

A casino rep has informed me you can still get in for $5 you just need to buy a book of 10 entries? for the avid Galaxy fan that is a dream come true.

Is it late enough to start having an early-nineties grunge themed bar?

that would be awesome. would clean hair be a requirement?

Nah, that would get you turned away at the door.

Albigeois: CHEESE @ Transit Bar is the re-incarnation of Cheese on Toast, but at Transit instead of Toast. Bryan even does music still as far as I know, with a funky 4 LCD display showing the old video clips. Check it out!

$10, that’s an outrage! That difference could buy you a woodfired pizza! Well, back in my day it could, anyway…

You can see live bands for the same price (or less). Some of them are pretty damn decent too.

But they play that new fangled “music” that the kids are into these days,
With their hippin and their hoppin and their bippin and their boppin, giving them the brain damage.

Transit Bar have an 80’s night on once a month on a Friday night called Cheese – and it’s free!

WTF is Galaxy nightclub.

Grow up!

Nightclub? They still have those?? and people pay (and sometime queue outside) to get in???

It’s been a very long time since I’ve paid a cover charge…starting to feel old now.
