This year Bosom Buddies Inc. is organising a Gala Fundraising Cabaret to celebrate 15 years of continuous support for individuals living with breast cancer and to raise necessary funds to support the services and programs we provide to the community.
1 out of 9 of the women you know, love or work with in the ACT region will experience breast cancer. Bosom Buddies is the local volunteer charity that will directly support these patients and their families.
Bosom Buddies provides support in many ways, ranging from information for breast cancer patients, hospital visits, one-to-one Buddies for support, workshops on living with cancer, networking get-togethers, community education and local advocacy.
We need your support so we can carry on our work.
Our Life is a French Cabaret themed evening will be held at the Corrina Ballroom of the Woden Southern Cross Club on Saturday, 8 May 2010.
Entertainment will include CanCan dancing, musical performances by ACT and Sydney professionals, clairvoyants and readers, an auction and interviews with local celebrities. Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner with wine.
