Who said there’s never any good news out of Bloemfontein?

On Keo the Saffers are whingeing loud and long about the refereeing.

But who cares when the backline has finally started producing tries and we’ve finally extracted a bonus point?

Roll on next Saturday afternoon for a long awaited home game and break out the face paint!

Not so much the backline kicking in, more the forwards behaving like backs or individual effort, eg Kimlin’s try and Gerrard’s work. Still lots of dropped ball and some poor defensive work.

The referee made some howlers, one try for them disallowed and one given to us on a pretty blatant obstruction, but Brumbies deserved to win.

If anything should be whinged about, it’s the fact that both teams wore white jerseys. Maybe that’s what confused Australia’s best referee/poker dealer, Matt Goddard. It sure made for some poor mistakes by players throwing passes to what they thought was a team mate.
Lealiifano showed signs of good things (first try where he ran 20m basically untouched) and also some bad things (dropping a simple catch).
Mark Gerrard was once again solid and his try was the best of the game.
The Saffas can whinge all they want, surely we deserved this win after the week the Brumbies have been through.
But a win is a win, and more importantly it came with a rare Bonus Point!
Bring on die Stormers next week!
