Building Repairs - Belconnen area

I have been successful in claiming against my “Dodgy-Builder” Builder’s Insurance. It must of been a bad year in Canberra in 2007.

Anyhow, I now have to find a “Great & Awesome” builder to do the repair work, ie:
Remove roof tiles from second storey roof, remove battens, Install sarking, then replace all battens and tiles again. Then inside the house, remove and replace ceiling plaster and paint, etc, etc.

If you can recommend a licensed builder to tackle this job, or warn me of someone not to use, that would be great.

Hey mscapri,

We recently got a small home office done by http://thebudgetplasterer.com.au/ . Good mob and does not cost an arm or a leg.

We found out about them when they were doing some extension for our neighbors.

I would surely reckon them.

My 2 cents.

OP,
I would be great if you could briefly explain why you needed to do this, and the steps involved in initiating this action – short points would be fine.
Many of us home owners wouldnt know we could even do this, or in what situations to look into it, or where to start if we needed to.

TIA
