By johnboy - 2 August 2011 4

Territory And Municipal Services have put out a terse note explaining their Canberra Connect shopfront in Tuggeranong has been forced to close due to “Internal Flooding”.

Territory and Municipal Services (TAMS) wishes to advise the public that the Canberra Connect Shopfront in Tuggeranong is temporarily closed until further notice due to internal flooding.

Driver licence tests will still be conducted from the Tuggeranong Shopfront during this time.

And Dickson library got evacuated at lunchtime! I saw 2 firetrucks and a hazmat response truck.

No idea what went on, but it’s a bad day for ACT Govt buildings apparently.

And Mitchell Post Delivery Centre is not doing well, Express Post item marked as scheduled for delivery to Dickson (PO Box) at 5am this morning hasn’t yet been delivered, along with lots of other mail as well.
