Canberra film set to raise money for charity

A film made entirely in Canberra and surrounds is due for release later this year. It stars a young Canberra boy and his dog. It features the wonderfully warm voice of local and international celebrity Frank Madrid.

The young star is one of channel 7’s unsung hero nominees for his work with child sponsoreship and world vision . He recently appeared in the Canberra Chronicle newspaper. The film has been presented to industry executives at Cannes MIP tv festival and a buyers group preview in London. The film is gaining attention due to its storyline and content. The script is desinged to draw attention to the plight of orphaned children in South America, it is the story of Ramos a young b0y living in a shipping container with his dog and ailing grandma. Ramos is sponsored by Dianna and on an impulse she decides to make a secret visit to rescue him.

The plot unfolds as Ramos sets off on a long journey following the death of his grandma just as Dianna arives in his country, the two experience two very unique journey’s filled with self realisation.

The Lady Who Met Jesus is destined to be a very much loved film of our time.
