This in over the weekend:

The Canberra International Film Festival is looking for volunteers.

If you consider yourself reliable, outgoing and interested in film, this could be for you.

Volunteers usually work three sessions during the festival (31st October to 11th November), with the possibility of a fourth.

Last year volunteers assisted with providing advice to patrons, talking to them about the films screening and responding to other questions, such as membership packages or special sessions.

In return, you will receive:
• 2 double passes to two films of your choice at Arc or Dendy cinemas.
• A ticket to the VIP Closing Night Film & Party (if you attend all of your shifts)
• Free membership, which includes discounts, free screening of Undefeated, and six free screenings through out 2013
• An exclusive t-shirt (not for sale to the public)

If you are interested in volunteering at the festival please contact Katherine Morrell (CIFF operations) – katherine@bdwspecialevents.com.au or call 6230 5211.
