Canberra Review does it's thing on the Canberra Pops Orchestra

Canberra Review have got a take on the inaugural performance of the Canberra Pops Orchestra.

While I can’t fault the slim review it’s worth noting this was very much music of the establishment for the establishment. It’s nice that society has moved on to the point where Mark Trevorrow fits seemlessly into that (and his showmanship working with an orchestra was marvellous).

When the Society Pages organiser from the Canberra Times does a celebrity voice-over in her hot pink pants-suit it’s not exactly fringe.

But it never claimed to be and if you just want to hear great music and singing then you’ll have a fantastic time.
