Fashfest is hitting Canberra from the 1-4 of May. Fashfest if a showcase of Canberra’s work in the fashion field, and features designer shows, live performances, celebrities and probably more than a few cocktail parties. Sounds fun.
FASHFEST is the brainchild of founding partners Andrea and Clint Hutchinson. This husband and wife team are immersed in the creative world through work and outside interests. And they’re passionate—very passionate—about living in Canberra.
Backed by their conviction that there is an abundance of amazing talent in this amazing city, Andrea and Clint decided it was time to showcase Canberra for all that it offers. And, so, the seed for a four-day fashion event, on a scale never seen before in the ACT, was planted.
FASHFEST quickly blossomed into an event many were eager to support. ‘The timing was just right,’ says Clint. ‘Not only is it Canberra’s 100th birthday, but this city is truly a fashion savvy mini-metropolis. Culture and fashion are super important here.’
