Canberra’s 14th annual short film festival is ready and raring to go this week!

The Festival begins screening at the Dendy Cinemas in the Canberra Centre this coming Thursday evening 15 October and finishes on Saturday evening 17 October.

The first two sessions on Thursday evening (beginning at 6.30 PM) feature films made by young people and secondary students from the Canberra region as well as nationally.

Films featured on subsequent nights come from local filmmakers as well as from budding and experienced filmmakers from all over Australia.

“There have been some cracker entries this year.” Festival Director Brianna O’Donohue said today. “The judges had a really difficult time picking the films to be screened due to the excellent quality. There was an amazing range in styles of films entered into the competition. This will be the best year yet.”

The list of finalist films is available from the Festival website (http://www.silversunpictures.com.au/csff/)

For bookings and tickets contact the Canberra Dendy Cinemas (02 6221 8900).
