Canberra United have let it be known they’re playing the Perth Glory tomorrow night:

Canberra United hosts Perth Glory at Deakin Stadium on a Wednesday evening in the first official match played by the club in midweek in a re-arranged match from Round 7 of the Westfield W-League. This game, of course, was originally scheduled for Saturday 24th November but has re-organized as United travelled to Japan to participate in the inaugural International Women’s Club Championship. Despite that though, we are anticipating a large crowd for a meeting between two teams who have been amongst the goals so far in 2012/13.

It’s a vital match for Canberra who needs a win if they are to keep in touch with the top four but Perth, currently sitting pretty on top of the pile, will be a tough assignment. The Glory have completely turned around their fortunes after a difficult 2011/12 season and are in red hot form boasting several in-form players including league leading scorer Katie Gill who has six to her name.
