Chief Minister Gallagher has happily annouced that she’s flogged off the Canberra Citizen of the Year award to the Canberra Times.
The award has been largely worthless after Jon Stanhope prostituted it out to everyone who was in Canberra on 18 January 2003, and everyone in Rotary a few years after that. But now the long suffering award serves as a billboard too.

Covered this last year and was surprised how many people got a medal for long stays of living here.
Someone nominate JB, he deserves a nod for services to online media in the ACT.

Exclude Politicians,Business Leaders,Sporting Figures And The Like…Which Leaves Us…The Ones Who Are Most Deserving Of Such An Award.
