Penny Dreadful films are teaming up with the ACT Filmmakers Network in delivering the best in underground cult and sleazy cinema to Canberra. In the next couple of months a venue will be named and also the mid 2009 selection.
Expect to be shocked! appauled! sickened! and most of all entertained!
The aim of the project is to get budding filmmakers and enthusiasts a place to geek out and watch the kinds of films that they would never normally see.
Also get a chance to discuss and even show their own projects before an audience on a big screen!

For sure! Expect films along the lines of: Ichi the Killer, Pink Flamingos, Man Bites Dog, August Underground trilogy, Taxidermia, Begotten, Tetsuo Ironman and many many more!
First time some of these have ever been shown in Australia!
