Yay!! The fair trade stuff is really important.
I have found some really good fair trade products. They are harder to get, but worth every cent to know that people are being paid a fair wage for a fair day’s work.
We wouldn’t tolerate exploitation of workers in our own country. It’s time to insist that our companies are not allowed to exploit workers in other nations.
I don’t want little kids being sold into slavery to make my coffee and chocolate or to work in some brothel. I want them to go to school and be able to play and feel loved.
This is something simple we can all do that would make a huge difference.
Oh, and Canberra should be the first fair trade city! We should be leading the country in this.
I hope lots of people will go along and support the launch. Things like this are always so interesting. You learn so much!
Hugh Evans is a dead-set champion.
He is a natural leader. Definitely somebody to watch in the future.
Should road rules be the same for motorists and bikes?
