Sounds like a great event!

While I am cynical about many aspects of the green agenda and jargon, you don’t have to be a greenie to appreciate and support local producers. Glad the chook workshop is happening, as that is the drawcard for me.

I would love to encourage and support local growers, (as opposed to the corporate move to food, often labelled ‘product of Australia’ – or NZ – that actually originates in China).

It looks interesting, shame about the “greeny bullsh!t bingo” language used..

Celebrating Canberra’s bounty of local food and drink as a means of reducing food miles is what the festival is centred upon

Should read; “selling local products is the reason for this event.”

as well as providing a space for community organisations to promote and connect with each other and the larger community.

Should read; “in a hall.”
