Does anyone know of a current training group here in Canberra for parkour/free running?
Google is little help. Most/all stuff is old.
The University of Canberra Brumbies Offical Supporters Group “The rUCkus Crew” seem to be in pre-season training for their season of shirtless, brass fueled shenanigans again in 2014.
I think they may need counselling though… I mean look at these guys… I got pretty upset over Benny Mowen too… But this upset?
And do they not even [...]

Canberra’s Nick Kyrgios won a lot of fans around the world with his close fought and cramp riddled second round Australian Open tennis loss to France’s Benoit Paire.
Definitely one to watch as he gets a few more years under his belt and miles in the legs.

The funsters at the Economic Development Directorate are expressing a preference for cars not to be driven to the PM’s XI:
If you’re going to the Prime Minsters XI V’s England match at Manuka on Tuesday, your best bet is to leave the car at home and catch an ACTION bus, and it won’t cost you [...]
In SA Rugby Mark Keohane interviews his mate Jake White on how screwing the Brumbies over has made him even more formidable.
Four year contract Jake. Win at all costs eh?

…for many reasons.
Canberra is being over-run by the resistance. We are an enlightened city, full of enlightened people (mostly), but the ‘intel map’ is depicting that this is not the case. The enlightened seem to be losing the battle. We need more help!
If you’re over 16 and based in the Australian Capital Territory, have an [...]

Congratulations to him on an unexpectedly prolific test career!
Geoff Koop on The Roar is engaging in some wishful thinking about getting Test cricket here to Canberra.
At the end of the day we might get the odd one but it’s hard to see the cricketing world letting the vast Perth market wither in favour of Canberra’s small population so very close to Sydney.
Let’s get [...]
Anybody know what the regulations are for cameras and camera gear at Manuka Oval? I’ve got tickets to watch the Poms vs PM’s XI and I’d like to get a bit snappy there.
I only ask, as the SCG will not allow lenses over 200mm and mine is a 300mm, no tripods or monopods either. I’m [...]
Want China Times has a very strange story claiming that the Canberra Cavalry’s Matt Blazynski completely fabricated a match fixing approach during the team’s triumphant Asian Cup series.
“The lie and the article caused extremely serious damage to the 2013 Asia Series, the CPBL, baseball fans and those who work in baseball in Taiwan,” the league [...]

We either don’t have a coach, or we have two coaches. Or half the team has one coach and half the team has another coach.
And we don’t have a CEO.
