Ceramics workshops for people with and without disability at BCS

100 Bricks is a series of eights ceramics workshop for people with and without disability running in Belconnen during May and June.

The project will be structured in a series of 8 free workshops creating ceramic tiles and opened to 12 adults with and without disability, with the aim of sharing the experience through the creative process.

The program of Workshops will be developed at Belconnen Community Centre (Swanson Court, Belconnen) under the guidance of a Ceramist tutor Elena Bozhko-Marshall will explore techniques and materials, texture and colour in creating these ceramic tiles.

The creative experience will end up in a collaborative realization of Mural Mosaic displayed at the front of Belconnen Community Centre building.

Possibly its meant to show that it caters for people with disabilities but people without are also welcome to participate. Sometimes events are just for one group or the other.

If thats not the case I’ll personally refund the picosecond extra it took you to read the heading. 😉
