BCS have just let us know about a series of interesting sounding workshops taking place around Canberra in late August.

Changing Places is based on the idea that good and bad mental health are in part made by our environment- physical and social.

Changing Places is an opportunity to explore, comment on and interact with places in the ACT that make you feel good or bad. Work with a video artist (Chris Hahn), visual artist (Hilary Talbot) and theatre director (Robin Davidson) to create objects or events in these places. This could be artworks, performances, short films, flash mobs or anything you can dream up.

If you would like to be involved, come along to one of our three open workshops to find out more. Or if you are already a part of a group that would like to be involved, contact us and we’ll come to you.

The three open workshops are:
Tuesday August 27, 1pm to 4pm at the Woden Youth Centre, 29 Callam st Woden;
Wednesday August 28, 2pm to 4pm at the Rainbow, Canberra Technology Park, Philip Ave Watson;
Saturday August 31, 2pm to 5 pm, at the Mental Health Community Coalition meeting room, Level 1, the Griffin Centre, Genge st Canberra City.
