The latest addition to student accommodation at the University of Canberra which will provide almost 300 more spaces for students to live and learn has been officially opened today by Chief Minister Katy Gallagher.

Named after a celebrated ACT teacher, Patricia Cooper, this new complex provides 297 self-contained studio and multi-bedroom apartments under the University’s ‘On-Campus 1’ developments.

“I am pleased to see that student accommodation has reached a level where the University of Canberra is able to provide all first year students with a space to live in their first semester. Cooper Lodge is the latest addition to student lodgings that will help them to make the most out of their tertiary education,” the Chief Minister said.
