Canberra?s top music promoters Kicks Entertainment, Pang, Sub Squad and Party By Jake are bringing the local dance music community together and hosting a benefit on Sunday the 16th of December at Trinity Bar Dickson, for the Azzopardi family.
The Azzopardi?s recently lost a son when Josh Azzopardi passed away last week. The family has also been battling other long term illness for many years.
All money raised at the City Kid Benefit will be going straight to the family to support them in their time of need.
The Azzopardi family has long contributed to the Canberra dance music industry, helping establish it and turn it into the great community it is today.
Josh Azzopardi was a local promoter who created dance music parties in Canberra under the name ?City Kid Music? and was a well known figure within the dance music community.
On Sunday the 16th December at Trinity Bar Dickson Kicks Entertainment, Pang, Sub Squad and Party By Jake will be hosting the City Kid Benefit to raise money for the Azzopardi family.
A-Tonez (Azzopardi family), Mikah Freeman (Aston Shuffle), Jeff Drake (The Only/Kicks), Hubert (Pang), Transforma (Sub Squad/Clubhouse), Steve Lind (Chinese Laundry), Nay Nay (Party by Jake), Offtapia (Trinity Bar) and more will all be donating their time and performing at the benefit.
The City Kid Benefit kicks off at 2pm and all are welcome. Trinity Bar has generously offered to donate $1 per beverage purchased to the cause. Entry will be $5 with all money raised going to the Azzopardi family.
