Simon Corbell is having a bit of a gloat after the Liberals’ Jeremy Hanson got himself thrown out of the Legislative Assembly again today:
Manager of Government Business, Simon Corbell, has today called on the Opposition Leader to condemn the actions of Jeremy Hanson for refusing to withdraw dissenting comments about the Speaker of the ACT Assembly.
Mr Hanson labelled Speaker, Shane Rattenbury, biased and on request refused to withdraw the comments.
“This kind of behaviour cannot be tolerated in the Assembly, and it is time for the Opposition Leader to discipline his members for the way they constantly conduct themselves in the Chamber,” Mr Corbell said.
Jeremy Hanson holds the distinction of being the only MLA to be banned from the Assembly, this time being his second.
