World Environment Day Dinner – 1 June 2013

Celebrate World Environment Day with a four-course feast and live entertainment at the Conservation Council’s annual fundraising dinner.

‘Think, Eat, Save’ is the United Nations theme this year, and ‘Eat’ will be emphasised as you feast on some of the tastiest local food around fresh from the sustainable kitchen of Merici College and local producers!

This year we have formed a community partnership with Merici College (winners of the ACT Sustainable Cities Awards for 2012) who will be using local and where possible organic produce to tantalise your tastebuds. The delectable set menu will be prepared by the student ‘masterchefs’!

All funds raised for the night go to support the Conservation Council’s vital work to continue to be a voice for the environment in the ACT.
