The Corinbank team have sent through this exciting news for the Corin faithful.

The 2012 Corinbank line up will be announced at a free event held at the Australian National Botanic Gardens on the Eucalypt lawn on Saturday 15 October 2011. The event will showcase the natural beauty of the Botanic Gardens which are in full spring bloom in October.

Three Canberra bands, who will feature on the Corinbank 2012 line-up, will entertain party-goers. Bands will be named on the Corinbank website and Facebook page next month.

An exclusive Slow Food Banquet will be on offer, with a three course cooked by a local chef (to be announced closer to the date). Slow Food (as opposed to ‘fast food’) is the use of locally sourced food to help reduce the carbon footprint from food transport. An added bonus is that the food is fresher and hence tastes better! Inspired by the beautiful Australian National Botanic garden surrounds, the dinner will be ‘bush’ themed and will be sure to impress.

The Slow Food Convivium are also putting on a sausage sizzle using organic low-fat locally sourced sausages for those not lucky enough to score a ticket to the Slow Food Banquet, and locally crafted beer from the Wig & Pen, wines and other drinks will be available at the CorinBar.

For more information, and to find out which bands will be playing at the Garden Party, punters can ‘like’ Corinbank on Facebook ( www.facebook.com/Corinbank) or subscribe to our mailing list at www.corinbank.com.
